Senior Executive - Process Engineering

Job Description

Executive process engineer shall perform all the activities assigned by department head which are as follows:

  1) Supervise compliance to all cGMP, GxP, or any other regulatory requirements, including EH&S   requirements.

  2) Execute and supervise all tasks and activities as per the applicable SOPs.

  3) Comply with all cGMP, GxP, or any other regulatory requirements, including EH&S requirements.

  4) Complete training on relevant SOPs and develop an understanding of the activities to be conducted prior to undertaking any task.

5) Conduct all task/activities as per the applicable SOPs. Report any difficulty or deviation in following the procedures/Instructions to immediate Supervisor /Managers.

6) Report any Quality Concern or Suggestions for improvement to Supervisor /Managers.

7) Execution of assigned project, preparation of PFD, P&ID, layout.

  8) Heat & Mass balance calculation.

  9) Equipment selection, sizing, preparation of URS, Tech. data sheet & techno commercial Comparison.                  

10) Process Equipment drawing approval as per standard & equipment inspection (FAT).

11) Perform job related to SAP.

12) Equipment qualification (DQ, IOQ), erection & commissioning.

13) BOM preparation of mechanical projects & procurement.

14) Preparation of PO services to contractors, checking of bills & measurements.

15) Preparation of concept note, Modification note, JSA, HAZOP, RA, PSSR, DIR.

16) Trouble shooting related to unit operations & unit processes in plant.

17) Solvent recovery establishment, loss identification & recovery improvement.

18) Environment, safety, Productivity & cGMP improvements in plant.

19) Coordination with vendors, Eng. services, production, QA, purchase for project execution.

20) Scale up calculations for exhibit batches of new products.

21) Automation of process plants.

22) Innovative idea generation of cost reduction.

23) Process time cycle monitoring & optimization.

24) Technical support to production, Eng. Services & ETP as & when required

25) To undergo assigned EHS training programs and participates in promotional campaigns and  

       Activities.

Work Experience

4 to 8 years experience.
