Job Description
Litigation Management
- Assisting in managing Litigation and Arbitration matters across multiple jurisdictions and forums, including judicial and quasi‑judicial authorities
- Drafting and vetting legal notices, briefing notes on matters, applications, petitions, and other pleadings
- Coordinating, liaising, and engaging with Advocates across different locations and managing matters across multiple territories
- Conducting legal research and maintaining awareness of key amendments relating to pharma industry laws, landmark judgments, legislation, circulars, and notifications
- Familiarity with legal research platforms such as Manupatra
- Managing the in‑house Litigation Management Portal – LawyerServices
Advisory
- Providing research inputs and legal opinions on specific provisions of law
- Coordinating with consultants, external subject‑matter experts, and cross‑functional teams
- Monitoring, managing, and updating the litigation tracker and case status of all matters
Agreements
- Drafting, vetting, and finalizing agreements for assigned SBUs (including HR‑related service agreements, corporate projects, and Project Excellence initiatives)
- Interacting with cross‑functional teams and assisting the business in execution of finalized agreements
Work Experience
5 - 8 years + having litigation experience (preference from Pharma/FMCG)
