Long Description

• Develop and execute comprehensive demand planning processes that incorporate sales forecasts, market trends, and historical data.
• Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and finance teams to gather input and insights for demand forecasting.
• Utilize statistical models and Kinaxis tools to analyse data and forecast future demand accurately.
• Finalize production plans to ensure there are no market shortages or penalties.
• Monitor and analyse inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and stock-outs.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to demand forecasting and inventory management.
• Lead monthly demand planning meetings to review forecasts and adjust plans as necessary.
• Continuously improve demand planning processes and systems to enhance forecast accuracy and efficiency.
• Work cross-functionally with supply chain, production, and procurement teams to ensure alignment on demand forecasts and inventory management strategies.
• Prepare regular reports/MIS and presentations on demand forecast accuracy, inventory performance, and related metrics for senior management.

Competencies

Bachelors and masters degree preferably in Pharmacy
