Job Description

JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW
The Manager-PP SME is responsible for liaising with the Manufacturing business for their business needs, strategy, development, configuration, testing, implementation, upgrades, enhancements and integration of all SAP PP and integrated systems.

Roles and Responsibilities
•    This position will be part of Lupin IT team supporting the business globally in the area of SAP PP and QM.
•    Responsible to resolve incidents and executing minor enhancements independently.
•    Work with end users and business owners to understand their requirements and provide the resolutions or map PP and QM standard processes to the     business needs.
•    Should be able to participate in Functional solution designing. Analyze end-to-end requirements and offer optimized solutions.
•    Identify change request and coordinate with change request/Project teams for on time delivery of the change requests. 
•    Should be able to co-ordinate with various teams and actively participate in Unit testing, Integration Testing and UAT phase.
•    Assist the business users with PP and QM functionalities and participate in business blueprinting process and system integrations.
•    Conduct end user training periodically as per requirements and prepare user manuals.
•    Ensure End users are effectively trained and positioned to use all available system functionalities.
•    Provide support to ongoing projects
•    Leverage existing applications, systems and processes.
•    Responsible for updating and sharing status report to Managers and coordinators.
•    Should strive for continuous improvements and permanent solutions.
•    Execute all activities of SAP and documentation according to regulatory compliance standards. Work with Corporate QA to ensure compliance     requirements are defined, managed and monitored.
•    Stay updated with latest technologies like S/4 HANA.
•    Support all the Audits teams with providing the requested data and process explanations when requested.
•    Manage the team and review their delivery.
•    Manage escalation if any from Business team.
•    Should perform Project planning, estimating, tracking and reporting for small projects.
•    Regularly have meeting with Global Lupin IT Partners based out of various countries
•    Regularly have meeting with Business teams on the Incident status and Support improvements.

Work Experience


Functional Expertise
•    6+ years of experience in SAP core functionality in SAP PP and QM solutions and 4+ years of experience in Production and Quality domain area. 
•    Should have good knowledge on MRP and long-term planning. Process order configuration, creation and config of master data for PP module, Batch     determination, Batch derivation.
•    Should have good knowledge of overall Production and Quality processes in Pharma industry and Good technical Knowledge of SAP PP & QM module. 
•    He should have experience of working in Indian environment with understanding of quality related documentation and integration with other modules     like QM, PM, MM, WM and FICO.
•    Having knowledge/experience of USFDA audit requirements will be added advantage.
•    Strong technical knowledge on interfaces and authorizations is required.
•    Experience in production support and project implementation in a Global SAP environment is Must.
•    Resolve and manage Authorization issues related to PP and QM.
•    Support experience of Pharmaceutical company background is highly desirable. 
•    Skills and Knowledge or experience in reporting tools such as BW/Qlik View is preferred.
•    Experience in S/4 is preferred. Knowledge on Computer system validation (CSV), SAP validation experience will be highly preferred.

Graduation in Engineering or Production Management
