Job Description

SAP Basis Administration: Perform day-to-day administration tasks such as installation, configuration, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Fiori, etc.) and associated databases. HANA DB Management: Manage and maintain SAP HANA databases, including performance tuning, backup and recovery, and patch management. System Upgrades & Migrations: Plan and execute SAP upgrades, support pack application, system migrations (OS/DB, SAP HANA migrations, etc.), and patch management. Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Proactively monitor SAP systems and HANA database to identify and resolve potential issues, and perform performance optimization as needed.

Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain SAP security and authorization concepts. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Support Statutory Audits for SAP Systems – Globally, runs periodic checks meeting audit pointers and address gaps to maintain compliance Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, functional consultants, and infrastructure teams, to support project requirements, changes, and enhancements. Manage and work closely with SAP AMS Partner for day-2-day operations Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation for SAP systems, including configuration guides, SOPs, and incident response plans. Disaster Recovery Planning: Design and implement disaster recovery plans and participate in regular testing and validation.

Work Experience

SAP basis experience 8-10 years with HANA minimum 3 years · Hands-on experience with SAP HANA database administration is required. · Experience with SAP system migrations, upgrades, and support packs. · Strong understanding of SAP HANA architecture, installation, configuration, backup, recovery, and performance tuning. · Knowledge of UNIX/Linux and Windows operating systems. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. · Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
