Supply Planning_Outsourcing Channel

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Planning & Inventory Management 

• Develop and execute supply plans to ensure optimal product availability across the India market.
• Translate demand forecasts into feasible supply plans while balancing inventory and service levels.
• Monitor inventory health and drive actions to minimize stock-outs, excess inventory, and obsolescence.
• Lead monthly supply reviews and contribute to the S&OP/IBP process.

Outsourcing & Contract Manufacturing Management 

• Manage supply planning activities across third-party manufacturers and loan license manufacturing (LLMs).
• Monitor production plans, capacity allocation/utilization, and material availability to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Coordinate with procurement partners to mitigate supply risks and resolve operational challenges.
• Drive performance reviews with stakeholders against agreed KPIs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

• Partner closely with Demand Planning, Procurement, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, and Commercial teams.
• Ensure timely communication of supply constraints, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Support product transfers, portfolio rationalization, and lifecycle management activities.=

Risk Management & Continuous Improvement 

• Identify potential supply chain risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
• Lead initiatives to improve planning process efficiency.
• Drive supply chain optimization and digital transformation projects.
• Establish governance mechanisms and planning best practices across the outsourcing network.

Performance Management & Reporting 

• Track and report key supply chain metrics including:
  • Service Level / OTIF
  • Inventory Days of Supply
  • Material Availability
  • Backorders
  • Inventory Write-offs
• Develop dashboards and management reports to support business decision-making. 

Work Experience

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in Pharma,FMCG,Retail or Consulting.
• Proven experience in Supply Chain Planning, Digital transformation, Process Excellence.
• Hands on experience with planning tools such as Kinaxis, O9, Blue Yonder, SAP IBP and BI tools.
