Job Description

1. Comply with all cGMP, GxP or any other regulatory requirements, including EH&S requirements.

2. Complete training on relevant SOPs and develop an understanding of the activities to be conducted prior to undertaking any task.

3. Conduct all tasks/ activities as per the applicable SOPs. Report any difficulty or deviation in following the procedures/instructions to immediate Supervisors/Managers.

4. Report any quality concerns or suggestions for improvements to Supervisors/Managers.

5. Responsible for complete maintenance activities related to electrical function, new equipment installation, validation support and documentation in bulk drug facility.

6. Responsible to maximize the plant availability by carrying out timely preventive maintenance and minimizing the down time.

7. Responsible to execute the work as per GMP guidelines.

8. To check measurements and clear the bills of electrical maintenance activities and project activities carried by contractors.

9. To ensure compliance of all the regulatory documents as per SOP.

10. To assist purchase and stores dept. to optimize spare part inventory by identifying spares, deciding inventory levels, develop vendors, and import substitution.

11. To give on job training to workmen related to equipment’s maintenance and cGMP with periodic evaluation to ascertain effectiveness of training.

12. To ensure compliance of all the functional SOP of equipment maintenance according to cGMP guidelines.

13. To ensure the compliance to the safety procedure and minimize the incidents and accidents.

14. Identification of Unsafe act/ conditions and make efforts towards elimination and compliance to job safety analysis.

15. All the procedures mentioned in various EHS guidelines should be referred and followed for performing all jobs carried out in respective area.

16. To ensure timely completion of all SOP’s related to EHS and GMP as per respective TNI in LMS.

17. Preparation of BOQ, cost estimation related to project activities & modification activities, raise PRS/PO through SAP, tracking of material status, Preparation of bar chart related to project and modification related activities.

18. Preparation of MIS reports and related reports.
