Job Description

  • Assess project annually to conduct SBU level goal planning, outline program roadmap and annual activity, and present to head of department for approval and setting of departmental goals. 
  • Conduct regular program reviews to assess performance, timelines and milestone achievement against plan across program, track adherence and resolve issues, if any. 
  • Collaborate with CFTs to re-evaluate program plan based on change in strategy, delays and in line with business priorities/ partnering discussions. 
  • Coordinate with IPMG team to identify and strategize on the patent strategy and estimate the earliest entry date across global markets. 
  • Identify potential risks and critical path activities that can affect the program, and flag them to appropriate stakeholders for mitigation.  
  • Ensure appropriate process technology transfer from R&D team to manufacturing team and analytical technology transfer from R&D to QC team by mapping technology transfer elements, collating information and seamlessly transferring all required data/ information to the manufacturing/ QC teams. 
  • Facilitate the development of final pre-clinical and clinical strategy of the product by working with all key process stakeholders across Lupin’s clinical team.
  • Liaise with global business development teams to track global program, extend support towards building project presentations, proposals and prospective partner due-diligence. 
  • Support out-licensing activities via identification of appropriate service providers, conducting techno-commercial evaluation and ensure timely delivery of services. 
  • Liaise with regulatory team for compilation of regulatory submission documents, and ensure consolidation of submission package as per regulatory checklist, by collaborating with cross-functional teams. 
  • Collate and present monthly project status reports to function leaders and department head as well as senior management. 

Work Experience

  • 9-12 years in managing program management activities in the pharmaceutical industry; Prior experience in managing biotechnology programs preferred 

Education

Masters in Biotechnology or Biopharmaceutics
B.Tech in Biotechnology or Chemical Technology
