Job Description
Service level and regulatory compliance: Maintain an efficient service level in the timely and accurate delivery of invoiced orders, ensuring no deviations during operations. Compliance with corporate audits, GMPs, GDP, and GRIN policies.
- Transfers and deliveries: Inform the assigned unit of maintenance services in advance, clean distribution units according to company procedures, verify delivery appointments, documentation, and requirements for order entry with the client, deliver orders to clients, manage promotional cycles for representatives, handle shipments and collections of outsourced goods, obtain delivery proofs, record information in transport logs, assist with scanning delivery proofs, and perform administrative tasks.
- Review orders and/or shipments from different warehouses.
- Review the loading of items by warehouse personnel onto the delivery vehicle for transport and delivery to the client.
- Deliver orders and/or shipments to clients directly from the delivery vehicle. - Request proof of delivery signed and stamped by the customer.
- Product Returns: Report product returns at the time of delivery, transfer them to the returns warehouse, and comply with the returned product receiving procedure.
- Delivery Vehicles: Operate vehicles from 1.5 to 12 tons with a Class E license. Ensure the vehicle complies with its maintenance and inspection schedule before use. Keep vehicles clean and maintain current fumigation certificates according to procedures. Check general mechanical condition before use according to procedures and report any issues to your immediate supervisor.
- Resource Management: Take care of the resources and tools assigned to the logistics area for the performance of its activities during the processes of transfer, distribution, deliveries, or returns for orders or contract manufacturing.
- Work Environment: Maintain a service-oriented attitude with the different departments (Sales, Finance, Quality, Security, Maintenance) by resolving problems during the transfer, distribution, or delivery of customer orders, returns, and delivery of evidence, ensuring they are carried out within the requirements of Grin Laboratories.
- Equipment: Keep work equipment and personal protective equipment in optimal condition, and report any malfunctions or incidents to your immediate supervisor.
- General: Carry out logistics and distribution operations, including the transfer and delivery of orders and promotional cycles, product transfer between warehouses, and shipment and collection of contract manufacturing orders. Provide delivery evidence to your immediate supervisor and record it in the operations logs. Support activities in the warehouse areas for packaging materials and finished products. - Ensure compliance with GRIN policies and standards: a. Quality: Responsible for compliance with GRIN quality standards and current regulatory requirements. b. Safety: Responsible for preventing environmental impacts and contributing to the continuous improvement of the system; responsible for compliance with all guidelines for preventing incidents and accidents. c. Human Resources: Responsible for compliance with the code of ethics, necessary maintenance and services, as well as all requirements established by regulations, laws, and safety standards.
Qualification and Experience
High School Diploma, Technical Degree.
Teamwork, negotiation, integrity, service-oriented attitude, goal-driven, and effective communication skills.
2 years of experience in shipping and delivery within the pharmaceutical industry. 2 years of experience in defensive driving of cargo vehicles.
