Manager – External Communications

The Manager, External Communications works with a wide array of stakeholders including internal and external partners/vendors to achieve pre-defined goals. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, responsiveness, critical thinking skills, professionalism, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple simultaneous requests in an effective manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify storylines and opportunities to advance the growth narrative
  • Participate in media relations efforts — including ensuring consistent storytelling, thought leadership, developing compelling messages, ensure participation of leaders in relevant forums/conferences
  • Oversee participation in sponsored events – physical presence, speaking engagements, content integration
  • Manage the editorial content schedule the external communications campaigns
  • Manage the generation, approval and dissemination of all external and internal content that supports the campaign
  • Track, monitor and evaluate communications activities and accomplishments, including measuring and analyzing ROI
  • Share tracker with the team on industry/competition developments, and provide recommendations for Lupin
  • Support campaign evaluation of Communications Deliverables and Content effectiveness, post-delivery, and make recommendations based on evidence

 

 

Work Experience

8-10 years in public relations, communications and/or related field, including advertising, media, and publishing

Education

Masters in Mass Media or Advertising & Marketing
